Who we are
Over the Wild Borders is a kennel that constantly strives and works to ensure its Border Collies a life full of love and rich in positive stimuli from birth. We work every day to make sure our dogs are happy and fulfilled so that we can offer you healthy, balanced, and joyful life companions.
Our philosophy
Targeted selection
Each Border Collie is followed from birth and scrupulously checked from a medical point of view to ensure a healthy and balanced dog.
Priority well-being
Our dogs live in a family environment, at home with us, and carry out various activities with us daily to ensure them a serene, rich, and stimulating life.
Health comes first
We constantly monitor the health of our adult dogs and our puppies to prevent genetic/hereditary diseases.
Limited litters
The health and protection of our dogs come first for us, which is why we plan a limited number of litters.
Early socialization
Our puppies are born and raised at home with us, from the first days of life they live in a familiar, healthy environment rich in stimuli.
Responsible adoption
We give our puppies to selected families who are aware of the breed's needs and offer constant support during the puppy's growth and throughout the dog's life.
Our selection work
Over the Wild Borders stands out for being a kennel very attentive to the health of its adult dogs and puppies and extremely scrupulous in the selection work of the dog breed.

We carefully study and control, with accurate checks, the entire genealogy of each subject we decide to use in breeding.
Prevention of hereditary diseases
Collaborating with expert and scrupulous veterinarians, conducting genetic tests and radiographic studies for genetic/hereditary diseases minimizing the risk of pathologies that can affect our Border Collies
Character evaluation
Born and raised in a family and stimulating environment, constantly followed in every phase of their growth, our Border Collies grow balanced and prepared to face the world that awaits them outside our kennel.
Limitation of litters
To ensure health and prevent exploitation and abuse, each of our Border Collie females will have very limited breeding periods (a window that goes from 2 to 7 years of age, with a maximum of three litters during their lifetime, where possible).
Investment in quality
Health, character, and morphology, in this order, are our objectives in the selection work we have set out to carry out.
Our certifications
The ENCI Master Dog Breeder certificates demonstrate the passion and commitment that we at Over the Wild Borders dedicate first to our dogs and then to the structure in which we host them. For our Border Collies, we first and foremost guarantee health and well-being in full respect of all animal rights and with the desire above all to ensure them a full and happy life.
